  The educated Muslims have historical responsibility at this crucial juncture. The Muslim community has been failed by clergies and communal leaders who pushed the community to the wall and made it vulnerable to attacks by paranoid elements.

Since India became independent in 1947, whole nation was united on Constitution, National  Tricolor, National anthem and Gandhi. In the beginning there was hate campaign against Gandhi and educated Middle Class families of particular castes used to say openly why anybody does not shoot him but after his assassination they saw the blunder and became aloof to Jan Sangh. But gradually RSS resurfaced and continued its propaganda against Constitution and presented Bhagwa, Vande Matram and Godse as replacement of above mentioned rallying points.

The orthodoxy of Muslims after Shah Bano case and then Babri issue was resurrected by Rajiv Gandhi and hijacked by BJP and Mandal Commission and then Islamic terrorism all this pushed majority of educated Hindus into RSS-BJP fold.

I have read Golwalkar’s Bunch of Thoughts and appreciate his concern for nation and demonstrating evils of religious minorities but his desire to base national integration by diminishing castes, regions and languages differences and by accentuating religions  differences and marginalizing Muslims and Christians are against nation and are self defeating. This approach was understandable before Independence and Partition, is now treachery to nation.

Hindu community is divided into castes and privileged castes are in minority even less than Muslims. So staying of Muslims gave chance to Congress to make these privileged castes take control of everything – service, banking, business, media, profession. If there had not been strong Muslim vote bank, the Backwards and Dalits had come to power. Then Reservations were given to Dalits to keep them in Hindu fold otherwise they had converted to Islam or Christianity and thus making privileged castes marginalized.

Now after 50 years, privileged castes feel themselves powerful to crush minorities and to undo reservations. This is playing with fire.

Taking cue from RSS who are adamant to replace Constitution, National Tricolor, National Anthem and Gandhi, educated Dalits are working to undermine Hindu Mythological icons – JNU and other universities are its den and this is why BJP government meddled in these to crush this movement by force on pretext of anti-national slogans and activities. Perhaps other politicians failed to grasp this reality. This Dalit think tank cannot be crushed by force. The only solution is to work for total national integration including religious minorities.

Or all politicians are only interested in dividing people and making themselves ruling elite and keeping masses enslaved.

India is a democratic, pluralistic, multiregional, multilingual country but unfortunately its politicians have degenerated democracy into electoral politics and divided the country into vote banks.

 No doubt 15% Indians belonging to Brahmans, Thakurs, Vaishys and Kayasths are nice people but they are fortunate that no politician is going to incite them.

First were Muslims in undivided India, Jinnah an Ismaeli Shia became protagonist of separate homeland for Muslims though sustained anti-Muslim propaganda by RSS and Hindu organizations were threat to Muslims stay in India and it is said Madan Mohan Malviya reserved separate pots to serve food to Jinnah in dinner hosted by him as Congress President. Muslims became threatened by Hinduttava propaganda. The country was divided. Muslims were pleaded and allowed to stay in secular India but there was a deeper politics too because of Dalits awakening under Ambedkar. The Reservations to Dalits were given to keep them under Hindu fold otherwise they would have become Muslim, Christian or Buddhist and thus reducing to minority. Again if all Muslims had gone to Pakistan along with more land according to their population, the Backwards caste had power in their hands. Thus Congress politics of siding with Muslims and Dalits is instrumental in bringing Brahmans, Thakurs, Vaishys and Kayasths to real power.

After Muslims, politicians put South against North by imposing Hindi but had to withdraw and thus India could be saved from vivisection and this is not impossible in future if politicians are not restrained.

Then Sikhs were incited. Meanwhile after birth of Bangladesh, Pakistan intervened forcefully to incite Kashmiris.

Now Telengana, Gujjars, NE, Jats, Hill areas of UP, Adivasis all have been incited by politicians for separate State or reservations and some have succeeded.

The Hindus who go and live in Middle East for job appreciate those people then why they hate Indian Muslims. The reason is that 10% Indians are ruling elite for centuries and 90% people are living in their backwardness and under marginalization and discrimination. Nobody improved their lot and conversion to any religion not made any difference. A section of them are brain washed and engaged to kill, rape and plunder others in name of religion for political reasons in all the three countries – India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The educated Muslims who are less than 10% of their community have the moral responsibility to guide their 90% brothers to live peacefully and safely in a pluralistic multiregional country where paranoid group has been brought to power by 30% people.

There is a way to live in any pluralistic country whether US, UK or India and specially in India where country was Partitioned in name of religion and million of people lost their life, family and home.

We owe a responsibility to India and Hindus of India. How we Muslims forgot to live with our Hindu friends and neighbors ? All this happened gradually. Middle East opened its door to Asian workers. The Muslim youth who went there a dominant Muslim country they tried to live in same way in India a pluralistic country. They started ‘tableegh’ and built new high mosques and even started obstructing traffic during Friday prayers. All this caused inconvenience to common men and threatened orthodox and paranoid Hindus. The climax occurred at Shah Bano case, clergies brought the matter to streets, government was cowed down and in retaliation Babri issue was resurrected . Rest is the story known to everybody. Abdulla Bukhari, Azam Khan and Owaisi leave no occasion to blindfold and tie hands of community to get beaten. Wake up Indian Muslims. 

Responsibilities of educated Muslims - 1

We educated Muslims must understand some basic Truths and stand for them at this crucial juncture :
1. India is the best country - even if Citizenship of US, Europe or any Muslim country be given to me and I be requested to live there, I will never go to live in those countries.
2. Buddha and Mahavir were greatest and wisest human beings who preached and practiced "non-violence". 
3. 70% of Indians are simple and good people.
4 30% of Hindus are voters and supporters of RSS and BJP but they became so because of Muslim fundamentalism and terrorism. In the beginning they were Congress voters and supporter.
5 5% Hindus constitute RSS-BJP group and these are people with paranoid personality full with suspicion and hatred. But even then they are not as evil as are people of other countries and their heart may be won.
6 Because of Muslim terrorism, 30% people voted RSS-BJP group to power and these people may remain in power for long periods through manipulations and conspiracies because many high officers, army officers, media and wealthy people are in those 30%.
7 It is a great trial for minorities how to live under paranoid government- it is as difficult as is for a faithful wife to live under a jealous suspicious husband.
8 Muslims must not pin any hope on politicians of other parties though they may vote them.
9 Muslims must learn to live as peaceful citizens and educated Muslims must come forward to guide their people as clergies and communal leaders have pushed the community to the wall.
